Taking the DeLorean to the Billericay Fireworks display, themed “Sci-Fireworks,” was an unforgettable experience that showed just how much magic this car can add to an event. Located at the front of the entrance, my DeLorean set the perfect scene for what was to come, especially with the car’s working lights, music, and smoke effects adding to the sci-fi ambiance. Surrounded by cosplayers dressed in various sci-fi outfits, from iconic movie characters to imaginative, original creations, the scene was a spectacle in itself and built up excitement even before visitors stepped into the main event.
The Sci-Fireworks theme brought together sci-fi fans of all ages. People were thrilled to see the DeLorean up close and personal, instantly recognizing it from Back to the Future as an icon of 80s pop culture and cinematic magic. As families, friends, and fans approached the car, you could see their faces light up, mesmerized by the unique styling and futuristic elements that make the DeLorean so timeless. It was amazing to watch children, parents, and even grandparents all sharing in that moment of awe.
Adding to the fun were the dedicated cosplayers who came dressed as a variety of sci-fi characters, making the evening feel like a mini comic-con.
